Being an Indian

A Very Happy Republic Day To All.....
Today India was declared a Democratic, Sovereign, Socialist Republic.
We Indians received independence from the British two and a half years back.
But I ask why do we feel patriotic only on the Independence and Republic Days? Why can't we have the same level of patriotism every single day?
The freedom fighters no doubt fought for our freedom and gave us the freedom that we wanted but what have we achieved as a country so far?
Everyday people die because of starvation, women are harassed, there are less jobs, very bad level of education, people are over qualified or not qualified, etc..
So the topic of my blog as it signifies is how it feels like being an Indian.
Everyday I hear the news of something negative I feel sad about why be born in a country where there is so much hate. I then sit down silently and think that people will try to disrupt peace always but it is our duty to prove the saying correct that Saare Jahaan Se Achcha Hindustan Humara...

We all have to work together hand in hand to make our country reach the zenith of success.
Come on, let's work and give shape to a new India.
Sabka saath
Sabka vikas....
