The Menstrual Cycle

So today I have decided to write on something that is considered a taboo in India, The menstrual cycle.

Akshay Kumar a famous Indian actor has decided to be in a movie where he will show that it is normal to talk about the menstrual cycle.

According to the so-called great Babas of our country a woman who has her menstrual cycle is impure and cannot and should not go to the temple.

Another theory of theirs is that a woman can't get married on the day of her menstrual cycle.

Now I have just one thing to say and that is that the menstrual cycle is a natural phenomenon and it occurs in a woman to signify that she is ready to conceive so why do something that is not even their fault.

For a woman it is very difficult to go through the menstrual cycle and do her regular chores yet she goes to the office, takes care of the family and enjoys her life.

Thus instead of making a woman go through all the ordeals which are not even true why not change your mind and live in the present.
